The Studio
The TV Studio at the Hospital is Europe’s first multicamera high definition
facility. The 2,700 sq ft (250 sq m) studio space has grid and floor lighting;
black, white cycs and chromakey blue drapes, television floor and end-to-end
high definition capability beginning at the camera chain. Television
programmes can be recorded in HD and instantly downconverted to Digi Beta.
Both HD & SD sources can be played in. The Hospital can transmit live to
anywhere in the world then provide both HD & SD masters. There is also NTSC or
PAL capability.
