JONATHAN ROMNEY
Jonathan Romney is a Film Critic of the Independent on Sunday and also writes for Sight & Sound, Film Comment, Modern Painters and others. His recent book on Atom Egoyan was published by the BFI. Jonathan has also written and directed two short films, Man Goes to the Doctor and the Doctor Says and A Social Call.

Film editor of Heat Magazine, also writes for Sight and Sound.
NEIL HUNTER
Co-wrote and directed Lawless Heart with Tom Hunsinger, winning multiple awards including a BIFA for Best Screenplay. His next film, Sparkle, with Stockard Channing and Bob Hoskins is due for release in April 2007.
ROB PLAYFORD
Drum ‘n’ bass pioneer and founder of the Moving Shadow record label, Rob Playford is also a sound designer and music programmer for films including Die Another Day and The Stepford Wives. Co-writer, producer and engineer for Goldie’s 1995 album Timeless still the most successful drum 'n' bass album to date. Rob also runs a successful publishing business licensing music for films, TV and games.
DAVID ARNOLD (TBC)
Grammy Award-winning and BAFTA-nominated film composer perhaps best known for scoring films such as Stargate (1994), Independence Day (1996), and four James Bond films, including Casino Royale. In 1997 Arnold produced Shaken and Stirred; The David Arnold James Bond Project album featuring new versions of the themes from various James Bond films. He recently completed projects with Massive Attack, Natasha Bedingfield, and Shirley Manson.
BRIONY HANSON
Briony Hanson is a Co-Director of The Script Factory where she programmes masterclasses and other live events featuring international filmmakers ranging from Spike Lee to Wim Wenders. Briony’s background is in film exhibition, and she still occasionally programmes seasons for the National Film Theatre for whom she co-devised the original Sing-along-a-Sound-of-Music concept. Briony has acted as an assessor for NESTA and sat on juries and committees including BAFTA. She regularly appears as a film critic on BBC Radio 4 (The Film Programme, Front Row, Woman’s Hour) and Sky Movies amongst others.
LACHLAN MACKINNON
Prior to founding Intrepido, Lachlan worked for European public film financier EURIMAGES and as an independent television producer for ITV, Carlton and TalkBack Thames, for which he produced ITV flagship series The Bill. A graduate of the prestigious National Film and Television School MA producing course, Lachlan brings a wealth of production experience to the company, having worked extensively as a Production Manager and Line Producer, both on independent films and television. At Intrepido, Lachlan oversees the development, financing and production of all Intrepido’s films.
PAOLA MINAZZATO
The holder of an MA in film studies from the London Institute, Paola has extensive experience of the film industry, having worked in various production capacities, including script analysis for British Screen, Pathe Pictures, The UK Film Council and Intermedia. At Intrepido, working alongside Lachlan MacKinnon, Paola developed and produced a number of award-winning and critically acclaimed short films and is currently working on a slate of films by emerging UK and international talent, including the debut feature film by twice Cannes Film Festival short film competitor, Marianela Maldonado. |
