Booking System
Where possible, we upload events a month before they take place, screenings two weeks before they take place (to avoid last minute changes by distributors). Last minute events are published at the same time as the newsletter every two weeks on Monday morning, and if we've missed that we'll just post the new event as soon as we can and let you know through Twitter & Facebook...
Find out about events first...
We upload events to the website as soon as they are confirmed, which can sometimes happen last minute. As the newsletter goes out only every two weeks, it may be that some events are already before they get a newsletter mention. So either join the relevant Group online, follow us on Twitter www.twitter.com/TheHospitalClub or check our website regularly to make sure you're the first to know.
We've put in a new system for reminding our members about events bookings. Everything you need to know about the members' booking system plus the new reminders system you'll find in the attached PDF. Click on the 'Download PDF' icon below to find out more.
From Monday 13 July we will start sending out reminder emails for events 48 hours in advance - i.e. 12pm, 2 days prior to the event. This will give us an extra day to get in touch with and upgrade people on the waiting list when cancellations occur. Reception will work their way down the waiting list but only upgrade people they are able to make contact with. We will operate a first come, first served policy which seems to be the fairest and squarest way of running things. If you miss our call and then try and get in touch with us, we will unfortunately only be able to upgrade you if there are still spaces available.
When you book an event online, it will appear in your profile with a cancellation button alongside it. Please make sure your profile is up-to-date, with your correct account and contact details. Also, if you need to book or cancel on the move you might find it useful to know that the website can now be accessed via your mobile phone.
